Now that I'm starting to get my knitting mojo back it's about time I get to writing up some patterns. This week I have found the time to work up a few prototypes- it's so much fun to be knitting again.
These projects remind me of how much I love colorwork. There's something so satisfying about seeing the colors come together to form such a simple (and seemingly) intricate design.
And speaking of patterns, my Lansing Cowl and Beret Pattern will finally be available for purchase on Ravelry next week- be on the lookout!

Can't wait for the Lansing Cowl & Beret pattern to be up! I have been waiting for you to post it! :D
ReplyDeleteI really love the mitt prototype. I just purchased the yarn to try my first pair of Camilla mitts from Spilly Jane.I too am entertained watching colour work up.
ReplyDeleteYour Lansing Beret & Cowl are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI agree, it's very difficult to get out of the knitting funk. I haven't designed anything in 2 weeks and it feels weird :( Glad you're back!
glad you're getting your mojo back!! that is some gorgeous colourwork you're working on.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful, but do you knit and design while sleeping? How do you find the time :D
ReplyDeleteIm still a bit of a novice when it come to choose yarn. DO you think Tosh vintage would work for the lansing cowl. It is worsted weight but it is superwash 100% merino. Described as swishy
ReplyDeleteWhat do think...it is so beautiful
@Beth
ReplyDeleteI think Tosh vintage would be stunning!
The colorwork on the mittens (?) is beautiful. Bright and warm. The beret and cowl also look great. I don't quite "get" the cowl craze, a long scarf is my preference. But the cowl looks like a great gift. Something about the circle makes it looks as if I might finish it whereas scarves seem to go on forever.
ReplyDeleteDo you use the magic loop method for your mitts?
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for MONTHS for the Lansing pattern to be posted! I already have a yarn in mind...
ReplyDeleteKeep up the beautiful work!
