Easter Best

I have to apologize for the short silence last week- but as many of you guessed, my needles were clicking away all week.  I fell behind on everything else in life- emails went unanswered, the treadmill went unused, but little Elise had a new sweater to wear on Easter.

And since I finished the sweater on Saturday evening I decided to take on the matching bonnet to make things interesting (what knitter doesn't love a challenge- deadline knitting is fun!).  So, after we put Elise down for the evening I cast on.  The bonnet was finished before she woke up in the morning.

Ready for cuteness overload?

And the deets:

Pattern: Lucille
Raveled: here

Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions on baby cardigans- I have a few more Ravelry favorites now.  I've also cast on for Cascade (I couldn't resist) and will probably finish it later today or tomorrow :)

  3. Yep, this post needs the warning label: Caution--Excess Cute may cause "Awwwww"s. Very pretty, and the sweater's not bad either! I love pics of babies with their dads, just brings out something special in both to see them together.

  25. What an adorable drooler-oops-little gal! :-) I really like her name. I don't know how you came to choose that, but it is also my middle name. My father immigrated from Germany and Elise was his mother's name. Unfortunately I never met her, but have always cherished the name.
