Racing the Clock

So I understand that by now you may be getting a little tired of these super quick posts where I throw up a picture of a not-quite-finished knit and explain that I have positively not enough time to finish.  Unfortunately, that's what we have again today.   This time- a baby sweater.

The problem is not that I must finish by tonight. At this point (this picture was taken yesterday evening), all the sweater needs is buttons.  The problem is more that I am challenging myself to get as much done to go with it.  In a perfect world, it will be a sweater with a matching hat, diaper cover, booties, and maybe even a teddy with scarf.  In the real world, I am one of the names listed on the invite as hostess and I want to be around to help as much as possible before 6:30 rolls around.  So far I've cast on for both a hat and diaper cover.  An upcoming conference call should give me a little time (oh yeah, did I mention that I'm also working today?!).  I'm hoping to be able to have a beautiful picture to share with all of you tomorrow morning.  Wish me luck!

PS...  My hat was finished in time for TNNA.  I will have more pictures and a recap soon!

  2. Very cute sweater! You have a pattern or is this a throw it together sort of gift?
