Jill is a graphic designer by trade, and a knitter by choice! With these two talents, she has created her own line of Knitterella Stationary for knitters. I actually knew of Jill's work before I knew Jill the person- it's popped up all over the big knitting magazines, including Vogue Knitting and Interweave Knits.
Besides the stationary, Jill has also been busy designing logos and layouts for many knitters. If Sally Morgan is the "Physchic to the Stars", then Jill is the "Graphic Designer to the Knitters". If you have been looking for a great graphic designer to work with, you should check out Jill's work (but honestly, if you are a knitter, you've porbably already seen it!). Jill was one of the graphic designers behind Alana's new printed pattern line- so if you read my blog, you saw her work on Monday!
Up for grabs today is the complete set of Knitterella notepads:
One lucky winnner will receive all six notepads from the Knitterella collection. Here's how to enter...
Stop by knitterella.com to check out the rest of Jill's line. What's your favorite item- what would you like to see more of? Leave a comment on this blog post before tomorrow night (midnight, EST) for your chance to win. Winner will be announced on Friday along with the Never Not Knitting Giveaway winner.
For an extra entry, copy and paste this to your Twitter feed:
Just entered the giveaway on frenchpressknits.com for a chance to win notepads from @knitterellajill .You should enter too! @frenchpressknit
I have my own Knitterella notepads- here's one of them hard at work:
This one reads, "Knitting through the day one stitch at a time"- how fitting! This is definitely the
ugly side of working on a new design. Fortunately for you, by the time I have a pattern all ready to go, it's a bit more legible than the above picture!
I'd love to win! I love the note cards. The illustrations are fun.
ReplyDeleteI love everything! But, the thing I need most right now are the gift tags with the care instructions. Those are so cool. I will be ordering some today!

ReplyDeleteSorry.... Amanda
I've had my eye on the "Yes, I did make it and no you can't return it" tag. It cracks me up! Plus, I quilt as well as knit so it could work for both of my crafts!!
ReplyDeletei LOVE the quote about knitting another row. my husband could totally attest to knitting delaying our trips outside because i just have to finish something. and the holiday labels are super clever. may need some of those for the christmas presents that are starting to gather....
ReplyDeleteThe holiday gift tags with fiber and care instructions are a GREAT idea. I'm sure it will also be appreciated by the gift recipient.
ReplyDeleteI like Jill's new holiday tags. Clever design.
ReplyDeleteI love Knitterella's holiday tags for handknits. I make my own tags usually, but the icons for fiber care are awesome. I would really love to see some more tags with the fiber care instructions that are n0ot specific to the holidays, as well.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love the quotes (what they say, the block prink, the colors), I am smitten with the holiday tags!
ReplyDeleteI love the new holiday gift tags with the care diagrams on the back. I would love to see some non-holiday gift tags with the same diagrams. I usually just handwrite all of that stuff out which is kind of a pain in the keester.
ReplyDeleteAll of Knitterella products are all wonderfully fun. I particularly like the "can't return it" gift tags.
ReplyDeleteI saw these in one of the magazines and had to look up the website. I love the gift tags with the care instructions. Also "can't return it" tags

I think that the gift tags with washing instructions on the back are genius! I think either generic tags with the instruction option on the back - or other specific ones (like baby items, or a simple congratulations) would be good too.
ReplyDeleteAnd those notepads are awesome - I'd love to have some at work as a quick reminder of fun.
The "Knitted Socks" notecard set is adorable and I love the gift "Doesn't Mean".
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win! :)

ReplyDeletejennet656@yahoo.com
I have a thing for paper items and my cute note pads. But I have to say I'm loving the note cards. I had stopped over there a few times before, but hadn't seen the spot for them. There are many of the knitted object ones that scream out "Toby" if I were to send some to my friends. Hmmmm thinking I may be putting that on my wish list to give to my husband soon hehe.
ReplyDeleteI love the gift tags - especially the sarcastic ones
ReplyDeleteNobody ever has enough note pads or cards. And they will made nice gifts for the holidays coming up. Also the gifts tags are great.

"Just because it's handmade doesn't mean it was cheap".
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm sick of hearing- "Oh! You must save soooo much money making all your own things!"
I think the "knitted socks" note cards are my favorite. Since I give away so many of the socks I knit, these would be the perfect gift wrapping touch!
