Great Oaks From Little Acorns Grow

Nope, he's not ours- did I fool you?

Last week our good friends welcomed a new son and I finally got to meet the little guy yesterday.  I have been eager to share this Little Acorn Hat with you ever since I whipped it up, and now I finally can!

I purchased this pattern and yarn while attending the Lansing Area Shop Hop in September.  The hat was simple and fun, such a satisfying quick knit.  The pattern is by Meg Croft, you can find her here.

Pattern:  Little Acorn Hat
Yarn:  Mission Falls 1824 Wool in Dijon, Earth and Heath
Size: Newborn
Raveled

** I found the pattern for the leaf here
