The Missing Piece(s)

This should shed some light on the mystery WIP from the other day.  Turns out, with just the funny looking leg pieces a few people were still able to figure out what I have been working on this week.   That's right- it's the Debbie Bliss Teddy Bear!

I have made this teddy once before, and although it does require a bit of seaming, I love the end result and know that it is totally worth the time and effort.  So, with darning needle in hand, baby in lap, and Netflix queue ready, looks like I have my afternoon planned out.  Gosh, I love maternity leave!

  6. God bless you for all the seaming... that's generally the moment in a project when I want to give up!

  7. Boy your day sounds wonderful, I am waaaay past the days of maternity leave. I am on day 3 of snow and ice days off from work, I baked bread and have been knitting so much my hands hurt (that is a good kind of hurt from getting projects completed). The teddy bear is really cute, for an even more adorable little girl. This will make a wonderful keepsake for Elise.
