After much secrecy, I’m pleased to finally present my new pattern.
As mentioned before, Legacy was designed for Knit Culture. It debuted last weekend at Vogue Knitting Live in LA. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to make an appearance, I’m glad I had my sample knit there as representation.
I’ve always been much more of a wrap girl than a shawl girl (any others out there?) and I wanted to design a piece that could be worn as a scarf with a heavy wool coat or as a stand-alone wrap. You know- the knid that “makes” your entire outfit in the fall.
Working with Madelinetosh Pashmina was a dream. It took this simple wrap to a whole new level. The pool, the drape- the design in my head for an everyday wearable stole was transformed to a luxury everyday wearable stole (something only a special blend of hand-dyed merino, silk, and cashmere can do).
If you are wondering where you can get your hands on the pattern, it is currently being sold exclusively at Knit Culture as a kit (that’s right- with the beautiful yarn). The word on the street is that all the new exclusive patterns (check out all the other designers here) should be up by the end of the day today- I’ll be sure to update here with the link when it is available.
Already have the perfect sportweight yarn ready in your stash? The pattern alone will be available online as a pdf download at then end of next month (don’t worry, it won’t come without an announcement).

Update: The kit is now available (in 14 amazing colors) here.
